Albert Meyer brings a powerful blend of legal experience, public service, and personal resilience to every case he handles. A prodigy who began college at just 13 years old—the same year he earned his Eagle Scout rank—Albert has long demonstrated a commitment to hard work, discipline, and leadership. He is a proud Past State Master Councilor for the Order of DeMolay and a graduate of the Charleston School of Law, Class of 2019.

Albert’s legal journey has spanned nearly every corner of the courtroom. He began his career in real estate law with McDonnell and Associates before stepping into the courtroom full time with the 14th Circuit Public Defender’s Office. There, he advocated for clients in Municipal, Magistrate, and Juvenile courts, gaining invaluable firsthand experience in defending the rights of everyday people. His dedication to justice later led him to serve briefly on the legal defense team of Alex Murdaugh during one of the most high-profile cases in South Carolina history.

Albert has also served as a prosecutor at both the state and federal levels. As a Solicitor in Berkeley County (9th Circuit), and later as Assistant Chief Counsel for the Department of Homeland Security, he built a reputation for being thorough, persuasive, and fair. He now leverages that wide-ranging experience to fiercely advocate for clients who need a strong legal voice in their corner.

In his free time, Albert enjoys golfing, reading, and serving in fraternal organizations. He previously served as Parliamentarian for Omar Shrine and remains actively involved in Shrine activities. He’s also a proud dog dad to Boo, his French bulldog and constant companion.

At The Jeffcoat Firm, Albert stands up for what’s right—bringing his passion, experience, and deep commitment to fairness to every case he takes.
