A Virginia native who grew up near Richmond, Chris attended Concord University where he was a member of both the Football and Track and Field teams before transferring to Radford University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations in 2013. After working for several years Chris decided to go to law school to pursue a career where he could help everyday folks living in South Carolina.

Chris has focused primarily on criminal matters ever since his days at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2017. During law school, he clerked at the Attorney General’s office in Columbia and the Lexington County Solicitor’s Office and began his legal career there as an Assistant Solicitor after earning his law license. At The Lexington County Solicitor’s Office, he worked on variety of criminal cases, handling both felonies and misdemeanors & DUIs.

“I want to be able to help men and women while they go through one of the most difficult times of their life. Very few people intend to commit a crime and become subject to the criminal justice system. Being able to be there to help guide a client through these difficult times is very rewarding.”

Chris joined Jeffcoat Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2021 to help and protect the rights of people who have been charged with criminal offenses including DUI’s, drug charges and professional license defense.

“I can help make sure that the accused get a fair shot in the criminal justice system. Having experience as both a prosecutor and representing the accused allows me to have a unique perspective and experience that aids in working towards the best possible outcome for our clients.”
