Kyle Hobbs 

Kyle Hobbs is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with a proven track record of defending clients against some of the most serious criminal charges in South Carolina. A proud University of South Carolina graduate where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006, Kyle received his Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law in 2009.

Kyle began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kristi Harrington in the South Carolina 9th Judicial Circuit. Following his clerkship, he founded and operated The Hobbs Law Firm from 2010 to 2024, specializing in criminal defense litigation. His expertise spans thousands of cases, from traffic violations to violent felonies such as Murder, Armed Robbery, and Burglary. Kyle has successfully secured multiple Not-Guilty verdicts in high-stakes jury trials across the state, earning him a reputation as a relentless and skilled advocate for his clients.

In addition to his private practice, Kyle served as the Chief Municipal Judge for the Town of Fort Mill from 2014 to 2023, further expanding his understanding of the judicial system. Now, at The Jeffcoat Firm, Kyle brings his deep knowledge of criminal defense and courtroom experience to help those in need of expert legal counsel.

Kyle resides in Johns Island, South Carolina, with his wife and three children. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his family and embracing the coastal life.
