Our fast-paced Personal Injury and Criminal Defense law firm in Columbia, SC, is growing and we are looking to hire an experienced, high-caliber, full time Human Resources Specialist.

We are looking for a Human Resources specialist with experience in best Human Resources practices including hiring and retention, employee relations, benefits management, and AA/ EEO compliance.

Responsibilities include:

Serving as the employee relations contact

Successfully overseeing and implementing compensation, benefit and incentive plans

Suggesting and implementing Human Resources strategies

Working with the Operational Leadership team to contribute to talent acquisition, staffing needs, health and welfare benefits, and labor relations

Supporting the onboarding of staff and leadership

Managing PTO, VTO and employee attendance

Addressing Performance Improvement when necessary

Required education/ experience:

SHRM certificate preferred, as well as relevant continued Human Resources education

A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field

Supervisory Experience preferred

Experience working in a professional services firm preferred

 

Pay:

$25.00 – $30.00 an hour

Schedule:

8:30AM -5:30PM Monday – Thursday, 8:30AM-4:00PM Friday
